CALIFORNIA LEGAL COUNSEL · SAN DIEGO COUNTY
Candid legal advice.
Clear options.
A practical plan.
Yes Legal helps California businesses and individuals assess disputes, contracts, employment issues, negotiations, and other consequential legal problems. You receive an honest evaluation of what the facts and law support, along with practical options for what to do next.
The preliminary intake helps the firm understand the general issue, identify deadlines, and begin a conflict check. It does not provide legal advice and does not create an attorney-client relationship.

WHAT DO YOU NEED HELP WITH?
Start with the problem, not the practice-area label.
Legal matters do not always fit neatly into a single category. A contract issue may become a dispute. An employment concern may require negotiation. A business decision may involve legal, practical, and financial risks at the same time. Yes Legal evaluates the full situation, identifies the available paths, and helps determine what should happen next.
01
I'm not sure where to start.
A defined legal assessment reviews the documents and facts, identifies the legal and practical issues, and gives you a written action plan before you commit to anything larger.
02
I have a contract or business issue.
Drafting, review, revision, and negotiation for businesses, owners, professionals, and individuals, structured around the actual decision, not just the language on the page.
03
I need to send or answer a demand.
Demand letters, responses, negotiation strategy, settlement analysis, and pre-litigation planning built around your objective and your leverage.
04
I have an employment or severance issue.
Severance review, workplace disputes, termination and retaliation concerns, and employer-side advice, usually on a short deadline.
05
I need help with one part, not everything.
Limited-scope representation for a specific document, decision, negotiation, or stage, with the boundaries defined in writing before work begins.
06
My situation doesn't fit these.
Yes Legal evaluates selected other California matters, and will tell you when another attorney is a better fit.
HOW IT WORKS
A defined process, not an open-ended engagement.
Yes Legal begins with an introductory call to understand the problem, determine fit, and define the appropriate scope. When deeper review is needed, a paid legal assessment examines the facts, documents, law, costs, and risks, then provides a written memorandum with practical options.
FIRST
Introductory call
A free call to understand the issue, identify immediate concerns, and determine whether Yes Legal is the right fit. The call is for intake and scope, not substantive legal advice.
THEN
Paid legal assessment
If the matter requires review and analysis, a paid Phase 1 engagement is defined. Scope, deliverables, timing, and price are confirmed before payment and before work begins.
NEXT
Choose the right path
A written memorandum sets out practical next steps, including what you may be able to handle yourself and the options for limited-scope, negotiation, or ongoing representation.
WHY CLIENTS CHOOSE YES LEGAL
Legal problems are rarely solved by telling clients what they want to hear.
Yes Legal provides candid analysis, realistic options, and a defined plan based on the facts, law, evidence, cost, and risk.
Independent judgment
You receive an honest assessment of what the matter supports, including weaknesses, risks, and practical limits.
Defined scope
The work is structured in clear phases so you understand what is being reviewed, what you will receive, and what additional help may cost.
Practical next steps
You leave with a plan. That may mean handling some steps yourself, negotiating a resolution, preparing for litigation, or retaining Yes Legal for further work.

You do not need to know the name of a legal claim before contacting the firm. Explain what happened, what you need, and whether a deadline is approaching. Yes Legal will review the information and contact you about the next step, including when it cannot take the matter.
