A short conversation is usually enough to establish whether there is a legal issue at all, whether it is urgent, and who is best placed to deal with it. That may be Yes Legal. It may not be.

Yes Legal evaluates selected California matters beyond its primary service categories. Depending on the issue, that may mean a legal assessment, limited-scope assistance, direct representation, or help identifying someone better suited to it. Each area below has its own page.
Small claims and self-represented matters. Guidance on claims, defences, evidence, settlement options, document preparation, and hearing strategy where you are handling part or all of a matter yourself.
Restraining and protective orders. Assessment and assistance with selected protective-order proceedings, court filings, deadlines, evidence, and hearing preparation.
Criminal and other individual matters. Evaluation of selected criminal matters, including the options available, the immediate risks, and whether direct representation or outside counsel is appropriate.
Estate planning. Assistance with selected estate-planning needs, and help identifying outside attorneys for specialised tax or trust work.
Family legal support. Guidance on parenting arrangements, domestic conflict, and cohabitation questions, with referral where a dedicated family practice fits better.
Anything else that does not fit a category, evaluated on the facts, the urgency, and the practical value the firm can add.

What if you cannot take my matter?
The firm tells you that plainly. Being told early that a firm is not right for your matter is more useful than being taken on by one that is not.
Does the firm handle matters outside California?
The firm is a California practice serving San Diego County and California. Matters governed by the law of another state would need counsel admitted there.
